Sorting out the shed

With the garden as complete as it’s going to get for now, next on the list of ‘to do’ is sorting out the inside of the shed. You know, so that when you walk in a spade doesn’t fall on your ankles causing you to swear really loudly when next door’s kids are all outside. Anyway, here’s my totally ott dream solution to getting everything up off the floor:

In a dark, dark corner of my mind, I’d held onto an image of something like this that I thought I’d seen in Labour & Wait. Would you believe it, my memory has come up trumps.

If anyone else out there is actually interested in this level of organisation, you can buy those perforated panels here. I’m geekily excited.

Having just helped my son colour code his lego I know where you are coming from. I always remember going to a friends workshop and they had a board of hammers held in place with nails. Around each one they’d drawn the outline of the hammer and it looked really cool. If I ever get to sorting out our tool cupboard, that’s what I’m going to do….

Having seen pics of your teenage bedroom I would have to ask you if this style of organisation is really for you ; )

Cleo, I once left my Dad in my house for a few hours and came back to find exactly that in my old knackered shed! Debra, it’s my co-writer who revealed her teenaged bedroom. I think I might be considered the uptight one. x

Is that you guys in your shed? I dream of having such an organised space!!! I have to admit I have a big shed obsession! Check out my blog if you want to see some recent photos of sheds that I’ve been snooping on. Hoping my husband will build a new one for next year, which will be most exciting!
