Remember the discussion about blue plaques recently? I think I have a new favourite.*
It’s from Walthamstow’s Unofficial Tourist Board, a site where residents of what I think is called Walthamstow Village get together to post pictures of mattresses, shop signs and other suggestions that the gentrification of Walthamstow is slower than it might be, and is missing the point.
There is even a mattresses of Walthamstow calendar. And a set of photos of mattresses dressed as celebs.
*No disrespect is meant to Brian Harvey from me, BTW.
