Two kitchen contemplations
Yes, although my new kitchen is a long way off, I can’t help my mind a-wandering to what I might do. OK, I’ve made a list of the tiles, wallpaper etc of my choosing in a little book. The kind of kitchen I’m pondering is, in a word, yellow. So I thrilled to this example, found in Danish interiors magazine Bolig.
Love the tape measure table cloth and interlocking hermaphrodite vases too. And then below, a very simple kitchen, but the addition of a stags head (normally hate them – no disrespect to your heritage My Friend) and the chandelier, plus those spot-on open shelves, makes it very desirable indeed. Plus check the seconadary pot-filling tap by the hob, kitchen geeks. The luxury!
The yellow one is gorgeous…
Yellow is very different…if you love it – go for it!! I’ve over thought my kitchen (due to be fitted in June) and now can’t decide to go black or white, happy with the layout and the style…just the colour to confirm!!
Thanks for your thoughts – I love the idea of yellow but I might be too chicken and just get the colour in there with wallpaper and a groovy old formica table. Good look with your own colour conundrum.
