Twins
…not the Danny DeVito and Arnie film, although that has its moments. This is a series of photographs of twin sisters Maurine and Noreene, found is a batch of old photos bought on ebay, and some of the mystery about them is solved – but not diminished – here, at The Sister Project.
Aren’t they wonderful? Touching, not least because you get to see them throughout their whole lives. One of the details revealed in The Sister Project is that their mother was a seamstress – check the outfits again in the light of this! See the full set here.

Thanks Kate – yes isn’t it great? There is something very fascinating about identical twins, and something even more poignant about twins who continue to dress the same into adult life.
