Now that’s a shelf display

I have a new long, high floating shelf in my white-walled living room and here is what I’d like to do with it.

In reality it will probably become home to books and other coloured things – I’ll show you when it does. In the meantime, this display of white ceramics by Jonathan Wade can be enjoyed at Contemporary Applied Arts (the current exhibition The Honey Bee and the Hive also worth a look). Wade is influenced by Far Eastern and European art, architecture and design – especially Japanese crafts. The result of which is just delicious.
