Mulling colours

The bathroom project is happening. Slooooooowly. The layout’s all sorted – the shape of the shower area, repositioning the bath and basin – and I think I still like the idea of the black tiled floor mentioned here. But all I do is think about what can be done with the rest of it. Like painting the window and the small wall that surrounds it black – extending it along the wall a  bit to outline the basin (going to go next to the window) as well.

Then painting the other walls a soft almost-pink.

Or even a stronger pink?

So I’ve started to think about a different wall colour and want to put it to you our wonderful opinionated readers: Lilac, is that just madness?

Every time I let myself love it, I hear Linda Barker saying LALIC  and it terrifies me a bit, I’ll be honest.

To be mulled over even more in future. Do please leave your thoughts if you have any.

I’m with Linda Barker on that one. Indigo and white (sic.yesterday’s post) to include one of the lovely wonky blue vases.

Thanks for the lilac feedback, think it might be a passing fancy, but you n ever know I might actually try it.

Love the pink….not so keen on lilac but then things work in certain spaces don’t they? Try whatever you love….it’s only paint…..
