More good art

Journalist Max Fraser has asked over 100 UK designers to create a piece of art from a sheet of A4 graph paper to raise money for the charity Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centres – he lost his own mother to cancer some years ago. The signed works, priced £250, will be on show at Somerset House from 15-21 March.

Every piece has been created on the theme ‘joy of living’ and the big twist is that creators remain anonymous until after purchases are made. So you might be buying a John Pawson or you might be buying a Naomi Cleaver (you probably know when you’re buying a Rob Ryan). Check the website for the list of contributors plus all the prints and knock yourself out trying to match names to works. It’s harder than you think.
