Interviewing a trend forecaster

I’m not sure whether you’ve been following our work over on The Chromologist, but we get to write the loveliest things with the only restriction being that there must be a link to colour. Pretty unrestricting as it turns out.

I wanted to share this story with you from the site, because it’s about a friend, a trend forecasting fellow Scot who begins every text with ‘Yoohoo Jill’ – who does that? I love it. Here is a a brilliant photo that one of her friends snapped of her mid-phone call.

I met Sarah when I wrote about her old house years ago – for Grand Designs mag I think – and was completely bowled over by her original taste. She has since moved very near me and her now house, currently a building site, is going to be more fabulous than the last one most likely. The interview over on The Chromologist, is more about her work as an interiors trend and colour forecaster (and creative director of TrendPulse) – how she does it and what makes her tick. Have a read if you have time.

In the meantime, here are some lovely bits from her own collections of house ‘stuff’ that I REALLY REALLY WANT.

Don’t you?

FYI Insider secret: She thinks Memphis is a bit done.
