Interiors crystal ball

Just a few days ago I posted a made-up trends list from an online magazine dreamt up by My Friend and myself. On it was Paolozzi prints as wallpaper, an artist I’d just discovered at the time. Eduardo Paolozzi designed, among other things, the wonderful tile murals at Tottenham Court Road tube, mosaics which may or may not survive the current refurbishment of the station.

Well call me Mystic Meg but I was strongly reminded of Paolozzi when I saw LivingEtc’s report on Kirath Ghundoo’s new Mosaic Mix and Match wallpaper collection, below.

Designed to be hung with all the patterns muddled up, they’re nice aren’t they? I may have made my prediction about five years ago but it still counts. It’s the psychic law.

    Hello there,

Glad you like the papers! Please could you tell me which edition of living etc you saw my work? Was it online?

    Thankyou

    Kirath 🙂

      Dear Kirath
thanks for your comment. I love the papers, and your other work and was really glad to be introduced to it. I’m so sorry because I now can’t find where I found the piece about you. I thought it was Livingetc’s blog, not the magazine, but now I can’t find it there. It was an online story. However Living Etc ought to have you in the print mag immediately. Best wishes, MFH

Thankyou for your reply. Thats no problem, I’ll have a look round and see what I can find. Its always the case when big magazines publish, everyone else finds out first 🙂

        Thanks for the feature!
