French do-up: before and after
An email just in this morning from the cousins, who pointed out that the pic I shared yesterday of their amazing and ambitious French renovation project was taken when they first arrived and therefore looked a little sad. Below is the before, from when they arrived in 2011…
And here is the after, taken just right now and dispatched from the French contingent.
A garden started with creepers softening the walls – all my family (except me) are wonderful gardeners and with time this will be a paradise. Sun shining on shutters and a parasol to eat your dinner under… what could be nicer? Once again, if you’d like to follow their progress then check out their blog, ici.
Just for friends and family back in the UK…it’s 35 degrees in the shade and we are hiding indoors watching Bargain Hunt (poor us) Trish xx
