Mere moments after jumping to conclusions about why people collect the National Geographic (like I said, I take it all back) I’m going to share with you the fact that I keep three books under a lamp because I think it looks nice.

Among other things, I am a hypocrite. But, as well as bringing me joy this threesome does elevate the lamp to the right height for reading purposes. So that’s alright then. Do you want to see them properly?
They’re lovely Facsimile editions of Agatha Christie books, purchased long ago on a lunch hour at work when The Shop At Bluebrd used to have a great magazine and books section. You can still buy them on Amazon though, which I did for a friend’s birthday the other day.
