Jugs

Pssst. Wanna hear a styling secret? If in doubt, put a jug on it. If still in doubt, add more jugs.Well that’s how it goes in my house anyway. I love the things.

Antique jugs

These top two are some of mine, then below, some inspiration. They’re the sort of jugs I’d pass by in a jumble sale if seen on their own, but clustered together, here by Ensuite, they look great. She appears to have a gig buying ornaments for people – what a job!

Jasper Morrison even made an exhibition out of various pouring vessels.

And how about these angular fellas, by Diamantini & Domeniconi, as seen at Life.Style.etc.

Like the Diamantini & Domeniconi ones. I love that colour blue, reminds me of Yves Klien.

PS. Not often I open a webpage entitled Jugs! it was approached with trepidation ; )

I love jugs too. The D&D jugs are like a group of beautiful blue people chatting at a party. Reminds me of an old friend who always had to style her toothbrushes with bristles facing each other so they could chat while she was out! Sweet, Nut or OCD?

Yes! I thought they looked like a group of nuns having a chat.

Gorgeous selection. I do like grouping stuff together – like vases, jugs, globes – only problem is we’re running out of space!

Me too, but I do fear becoming the Mr Trebus of ornamental crockery, and one day having to be dug out by the council
