Hitting the (unpainted) wall

I’ve been in my new flat two months now, and I feel like some kind of alarm is about to go off. When people came round in the first weeks and told me how delightful it was, they were forgiving of the step ladder blocking the hall, and saw beyond the peach walls to what it would become. But I actually live here now, and I’ve started not even noticing the 15 rolls of wallpaper gradually creeping across the floor, and the endless boxes. This weekend then, I am promising myself a short, sharp shock of painting the kitchen white. And meanwhile, look elsewhere for home inspiration.

These are from the blog SoBinique, by stylist and photographer Sophia van den Hoek. Just go and have a wander round and enjoy the pictures she takes. And if you need some room makeover inspiration, check out her living room reveal. All though it has to be said the before isn’t bad either.
