The Wire

I’ve been looking for something to hang above the fireplace for ages so got shopper’s hot flush when I found this wire plate by Antonino Sciortino in the Darkroom sale a few weeks back. That and a cushion, which I’ll show you another time.

 

The plate looked pretty brilliant lying around on my kitchen table too, where it waited patiently a few weeks before I got around to hanging it. I almost didn’t hang it.

*Can something be a vase if it can’t contain water? My brain is still in holiday mode.
