House of horrors
It’s that time of year again when this house takes part in a fun game of Rotate The Illness. In desperation, I’ve introduced a new breakfast to my day.
I know, doesn’t it just look like the work of a food stylist?
It’s the ingredients for my green smoothie which, if you like the taste of earth and the feeling of a fire on your tongue, you’ll almost enjoy.
Recipe:
one apple not peeled
a couple of celery sticks

root ginger
juice of half a lemon
juice of half a lime
Put all in a juicer / mixer / whatever you have.
At the time of writing, I just finished that whole glass.

I even made a purchase of this lovely wycinanki cushion (that’s Polish […]

The forgotten room
Real Reveal time. There’s a reason I rarely photograph more than two rooms in this house, and here it is. What a a mess. That’s our attic spare bedroom. Complete with paper shredder thank you Mr MFH. When we moved in, we went as far as removing the carpet and putting tongue and groove panelling […]

Real reveal: record rumage

Coloured frames
I do like a door that’s colour-matched to the walls around it. I’m also partial to a black window frame. Now seeing this room by Patricia Urquiola for Patrizia Moroso, I’m wondering, are coloured window frames the future? (Also two-toned armchairs – discuss). What do you think – trend or travesty?
