Trend or travesty: creased linens?

Souad Larusi is one of the names in this racket that the really tasteful folk identify with. Her company, Larusi, has long been the go-to place for quality antique and bespoke Berber rugs – many of which you’ll have seen in Ilse Crawford’s interiors. Well now, Larusi has branched out into linen bedding in super sludgy colours (pink Ros, there’s a pink). And listen to this, when I saw it at Design Junction yesterday, it was looking totes fabulous completely un-ironed.

Crumpled, creased, whatever you want to call it. I’m calling it a trend.

Travesty! I don’t mind the Larusi Rugs, although I’ve found other suppliers I prefer. The fabrics though…. something you’d wrap cheese with!!
