Did you see Iggy Pop on tv the other week telling Graham Norton that he’s into collecting chairs? He puts it down to having gone from being super skint, having to sit on the floor of his apartment as he owned no chairs skint, to becoming a man who can and will buy chairs when the mood strikes. Obviously I’ve googled Iggy Pop and his chairs. Lets roll the findings which I’ve tried to limit to the man’s own home, looking for clues of his interiors style. It turns out this is not some chi chi Raf Simons kind of collection. I think Mr Pop saves his creative genius for those amazing moves of his. Also, lets all pause over the fact that he famously prefers to roam around his Miami home sans any threads. Wonder if that ever leads to parnickitier guests insisting that they’re going to stand?
