Books and mortar

Today the subject pendulum is going towards Weird on our Weird-Wonderful regulator machine. Second hand bricks (or are we calling even bricks vintage now?) stencilled to look like antique books. I like books, I guess I like bricks so I think these look cute. According to Light Reading Melbourne, who made them using old London bricks rather specifically, you can use them as book ends, door steps or just a decorative little something.

Interesting. Just wondering who in my family might appreciate a brick painted as a book for Christmas!
